Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi Sertikası, uluslararası geçerliliği olan (City\u0026amp;Guilds ve Wold Association Of Chefs Societie) ve bu sayede şef adaylarına dünyanın kapılarını açan çok değerli bir anahtar. İGM’de öğrenciler, menü planlamadan bütçe kontrolüne, mesleki ingilizceden hijyene kadar birçok önemli konuda dört ay teorik ve pratik eğitim alıyor, sonrasında iki aylık stajlarını tamamlayarak sınava girmeye hak kazanıyorlar. Pratik ve teorik Mutfak Eğitimleri İstanbul Gastronomi Merkezi binasında yapılıyor. Öğrencilerin, derslerin tamamlanmasının ardından girdikleri sınavda yüz üzerinden en az altmış puan almaları gerekiyor.
